Baroque against Jazz Through the concert we slowly built a bridge between baroque and jazz. In this program you can also hear a baroque instrument harpsichord. West Side Story West Side Story certainly is one of the most representative musical works of art of the twentieth century. Bernstein created, by using musical-comedy techniques, a masterpiece with an immense operatic power. West Side Story is a very attractive and alluring combination that enables performing of this monumental piece in any place and at any time and, above all with much enthusiasm of the performers and the audience as well. At Slovenian way to the world We do not want to frighten you with this program but present and prove to you that the Slovenes can also write a lovely song. The Rhythm of Piazzolla We are presenting to you a program of new Piazzolla´s arrangements. His music cuts across borders between ½classical½ and ½popular½ music. Its roots are in tango, milonga, classic, jazz, klezmer and avant-gard. A Soldier´s Tale is one of the greatest chamber music works of the 20th century. You can hear a new arrangement of a whole Stravinsky´s master work made by Jaka Pucihar. The story can show us that drama and music together have a special effect on the public.
